Also shouldn't the centre dash be piano black and not brushed Aluminium?
 
They are, but I'm not sure if that's what they are saying, or if they have checked for Cat C and D.
 
Just checked some of their other adverts, it a write off, seems they specialise in selling Cat C and D cars.
 
I thought that a category D is the least serious of the five registered levels of damage. The groups range from A to F, A being the worst, suggesting that the vehicle is so damaged that it cannot even be used for salvage and should be crushed.

Groups B and C mean that the vehicle has been heavily damaged and the insurance company has chosen not to go ahead with the repairs, although group C is usually salvageable if the repairs are carried out correctly.

Until the vehicle has been inspected there is no guarantee that it has not suffered chassis damage. Your best option would be to invest in a full mechanical inspection at an approved dealership, or by RAC Inspections

The armrest also isn't sitting flat which is another indicator it's been tampered with.

Way over price for Cat C/D also IMO.
 
As above, I'd say it's cat D or even C and they're hoping you won't notice that lost in a lengthy description of the car. The dash and centre trim should match, either both aluminium or both black/
 
It has individual trim so the dash is fine being all leather two tone, but all others I have seen have had the piano black centre console trim.

Only the ///M has leather all round.

creamcakeclarky's ///M has a brushed Alu dash. Paid for as an optional extra apparently. Saw it on a forum meet last October....

there are ///M's with brushed aluminium, but in those cases both the dash and centre console are aluminium. It was a no cost option, though why anybody chose it is beyond me.

Yes indeed it looks like a write off, C D or whatever it is - it is recorded and is not for me !!

Good spot on the armrest and center console Steve - i should have spotted the center console at least given my car has the indi PY theme :)

I continue with my search...

At the same time as this advert trying to sell it for nearly £16k which I thought was odd. There can't be many cars with 2 tone yellow/black interiors which made me realise they were the same car.
 
Oh dear. Advertised before for less (eBay). Blinding you with semi meaningless descriptives (special order headlining). Specialist in Cat C/D cars. Severely overpriced. Check, check, check and check.

Recommend wide berth. Others out there similarily priced with none of the above.
