Nice looking low miler. Not cheap but you get what you pay for. This time of year is be hitting him hard on an offer. Also id maybe ask a local to you forum member to go take a look.

Well you see the car is not local to me at all... infact I would need to driver it over 300 miles home!

I might try and get a forum member closer to go have a look before a trip down!

All the cheaper 3.0 (or would consider a 2.5 cars) are either high milers or automatic - which I am not sure about. I see you have an auto just now - how does it feel? Im worried about it being clunky compared to my 15 plate C Class! Also would you have a high miler - 90-110k? It will be my daily commuting car!

Scott :)

A couple of the wheels need a refurb and no cruise control or heated seats that I can see in the photos. Otherwise it's a nice looking car with full service history. Have you looked at the cars for sale here on the forum ?

Like this for eg https://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=41&t=108585
The linked car in black op looks overpriced imo , £5250 isnt far off 3.0Si money & even with more miles on clock that would make a significantly better buy

The SE spec means the standard sports seat which aren't good, also if not heated that's a minus for a roadster. I'd be looking for a 3.0si although you'd have to pay more for similar mileage.

For that sort of money I'd look for an msport si instead, unheated SE cream interior isn't for me
Hang about on the forum to wait for a loved car

The auto is a lovely smooth box. I've had a few Beemer autos over the years and all have been like silk. Where are you based?

First of all thanks for all the replies!

Thanks for this - I have actually been messaging Harry ... I was worried about an Auto box not being smooth but from other posts on here it seems like the auto is very smooth! I also didn't realise Harry was from Glasgow which is where I am from - I have asked to see the car - could be exactly what I am after!

Does anyone here know if the Auto gets less MPG than the Manual?

Z4 Coupster - I am based in Motherwell - outside Glasgow.

Cheers,

Scott

Early auto is 5,speed so slightly less than the manual. In a run I return muddle 30s. Manual I think is couple miles more.
Later 6 speed slightly better I believe.
