Thoughts on this 35is?

The cruse control is very very useful.

I don’t use it.
I know some do, but the only time it would interest me is on a long stretch of motorway, and that’s rare for me.

Well, I am loving this car after my first months ownership and I have many other cars including Porsche GT's and Ferraris. Currently I can't stop driving the Z4

Its a cruiser and it makes me want to cruise rather than race everywhere, but when you go into sport mode and go for it....it is crazy quick and I do mean quick.

Low mileage immaculate cars are very rare and when you think for the price of 15-28k for these they are amazing money when compared to 1M'S etc. The IS has the same engine. 8)

Just think you could have bought a new M4CS and lost £35k already so members making a point of over paying by a few thousand for these cars need to park the money and just value the car for the 'smiles per mile' and these are certainly capable of delivering this. Why did I never drive one before.....

Great forum too!

Have it. Like it. And extended leather or whatever the package is called.

Just take care with the Alcantara in the door cards. And, as for the rest, remember that if it's stitched, it's leather and needs conditioning.

Market is still looking pretty dry, have not seen any other well specced 60 plate cars since. Still on the lookout haha

So looking at the market still I can see:

2013 35is 20k miles - £21k
2010 35is 44k miles - £20k (No Idrive)

Do you guys still think it is a realistic ask for a circa £17k good condition 35is? (well optioned and less than 30k miles)

Thanks!

You can’t have your cake and hapenny though..

When there’s only 400+ cars out there compromise is the name of the game or you can “look” forever

Agreed, absolutely. What the OP wants is there, he's just gotta be really really patient or make a compromise somewhere. There'll probably be plenty come along as the new model surfaces but then it will be spring/summer and prices will be back on the up

Just noticed this one this morning on auto trader is tempting me to go look as I’m nearby with work. Looks ok in the pics.

You think so ? Not a lot of love for the G series out there, not even seen one in the flesh yet.

The E89 35iS is a belting car and all the car you would ever need really. So i think your typical Z4 owner will be holding on and not getting the new model.

It has been for sale for quite a while so maybe room for negotiation?

Only just gone on auto trader today though. Or reappeared on it today. Plus would have to be a Gudun to make me get rid of my z4mc

Sure I agree, but when I had my last 35is I managed to pick up a car with less than 30,000 miles on for less than £18k. So I am just struggling to comprehend how all of a sudden these cars are pulling over £20k for similar spec. Either way it looks like I will be playing a waiting game for the right car

This one has been for sale for months, is not shifting. I would imagine the red on red combo is putting people off as well as the high mileage.

The 35is is a fantastic car. I am not sure why people talk down the values. It's great looking and top of it's range. Low numbers especially if you want your favourite colour combo. When you see it, go all in and start trying to deal straight away. Don't wait for permission of fellow forum members.

8 yrs old and 60k miles is hardly high miles..

But get it if it doesn’t fit your brief..

If I was in the market and the red/red offended me I would bid him in the spuds and change the colour of the trim

Think your being very ambitious - as the cars get older the the very low mileage ones will go up on price as they become rarer. I think Z4M-2006 is right. 60k is not a high mileage for an 8 year old car. Your probably better off expecting to get something at 60k + for that money.

Question you have to ask yourself - is a low mileage more important than is a well maintained higher mileage model....
