Thoughts on these 108-replacement wheels?

Mostly Holland. Sometimes UK.
Looking at these as suitable replacements for my tatty 108's.
I always liked the simple 5 spoke look and wanted to achieve the 'deepest' concavity as possible.
These seem to fit the bill imho.
Thoughts?
Best size tyres?

I think they look heavy and dominate rather than enhance all of the examples you posted, I imagine they might look even more so on the less bulky Z4. If you want 5 spoke deep dish I guess they are a great wheel but a bit 'aftermarket' for my taste. :(

They also look like they will be vulnerable to kerbing and fitting marks, it might be worth finding out how owners got on with them.

Yup I like those Chris, as said not sure how they would look on the Zed but they are nice and simple.

I agree about the heavy comment above. Almost look they'd be better suited to an X5

Thx for the comments. All goes in the pot!

Couldnt find a piccy of them mounted on a z4 sadly. Theres a distributor up in the North of Holland who I'm thinking about contacting. Maybe has a set with rubber on that I could try on for size..

What about these - Niche Veronas? More spokes look less 'heavy' (subjective opinion of course). I looked very closely at these for my Zed, but I'm not sure the offset was ideal from memory.

Nce dish on them.
But wanted to stick to the 5 spoke format ideally, and to resemble the aesthetic of the 108s a little bit.
Found some a while ago but they looked to much like Ferrari 360 wheels.

were you thinking 18s or 19s? have you looked at OEMS wheels, either the FS2 or the 115 are a 5 spoke design.

Thanks for the link. Both those styles look top notch!
Food for thought...

Interesting thread - I like the 5 spoke look too, but we all know the issues you get with 108s! :(

Those OEMS 115 wheels look great!

Then again I really like the look of those 10 spoke wheels in Stuartt's signature picture. :?

I’m a fan of simple five spike wheels too. Wanted to stick with BMW OE. Style 189s on mine. Quite a nice dish on them too. These need a refurb though.
