Thoughts on Storm Motorwerkz V4 shift knobs?

Hi all, was considering the V4 shift knob wrapped in Imola Red. Anyone notices a considerable difference with the knob? How does the brushed look match with the brushed aluminium interior?

I've got dream red interior with grey, along with the brushed aluminium dash. I know imola red is not the same colour however, thought it would be a better fit as it is an accent of the red as opposed to just black leather, since nothing in the cabin is black (except the switches). Debating which colour combo to best compliment the interior

Really tempted. Just curious if someone happens to have the Brushed look with imola red. the colour on the website changes depending on the lighting conditions

I think any weighted shifter is a vast improvement over the stock knob tbh.

I was lucky enough to order the Buckley shifter and handbrake set as well as some alu side repeater covers I haven't used yet.
I keep an allen key in the cubby in case if I ever write it off in a crash, then at least I can recover these bits before anyone else gets their sticky little fingers on them lol. That is of course, if I'm still in a fit state to remove them!

I don't know if Buckley is still making them. I think he did another batch after he delivered mine and a few others but you would need to find someone selling a set or contact him to see if he still makes them. I think 'Buckley' is only part of his forum name. I think it ends in a number; Buckley192 or something. You'd have to do a search to find his full details.

Is this limited to the handbreak only or also the knobs? was thinking of grabbing the knob first and then later decide on the handbrake

You would need to make contact with him tbh. Have no idea what he's up to these days.
Imo, he should have taken this into fulltime production as all the order slots he opened were snapped up immediately!
The price compared to ZHP,Storm was also very attractive too.

Someone chip in with the full forum name?
Or try seaching 'Buckley' or something.

This is the first time I have sent a "knob pic", not something I would normally do. Here is my black one. It came with the car and was rotating, so I used an Allen key to tighten it. The black side covering is a bit loose on the knob so it is not something I would buy even though it feels good in the palm of your hand. Also handy to see the gear shift pattern.

You wont be disappointed. Transforms the experience and the brushed works really well. Only problem is it gets quite cold in the winter!

Fwiw I love my stormwerks v1 set up

The zedonist weighted knobs are cheaper and just as good

I put the alcantara v4 knob on Raymond’s car and that was my favourite

You could always put something “rubbery “ over it to keep it warmer

I find in the summer if the zeds been in the sun all day (on the odd occasion when the sun is out all day) if you get in before putting the roof down for 5 mins they just about give you 3rd degree burns on your left hand.

Try Jingle on here, I know he has contact with Buckley

I'll drop Jingle a quick pm. The website is still accepting orders it seems. was thinking of putting one through, worst case it doesnt get fulfilled and i get a refund via Paypal. Hope that's not the case
