Just had a thought whilst watching Big Bang Theory (not relevant).
Many years ago I bought a new 56 plate Audi A4 convertible. I remember reading in the owner manual that operation of the roof in temperatures under 5 deg C was not recommended as damage could occur to the waterproof neoprene membrane in the hood!
Apparently it gets stiff when cold and can crack!
So, do you think it may follow that frequent roof operation in the Zee may result in cracked insulation etc due to inflexible cold wiring??
Just a thought..
