As people have said. It is your car to do with as you please. We are all different and our tastes vary. In my view that is no bad thing. I wouldn’t worry about anybody else’s opinion. Who is the arbiter of good taste anyway? This is your pride and joy have it the way you want it.

They're on there from factory, so that's OK. It's not like you can remove them.
Going out of your way to put badges on is a different matter. One that needs immediate psychiatric help.

My Daughters and her mate ( both 20 yr olds Petrol Heads ) who drives an M had a a young bloke come over to them outside the drive-through outside Starbucks the other night ranting about the M badges on her car . My Daughter in her usual polite manner told him to F..K off and get back in his Golf which was probably on finance .

I do sometimes worry that the daft fucks that put M badges on 2.0 litre 5ers look at my car and think I’ve done the same because they haven’t got a fucking clue :lol:

Bigging up your car with badges that portray more performance than it has is just sad IMO. However I have no problems with M body parts on non-M cars, or 224 wheels on Zs.

Basically they are the 6 badges I was on about in my post (4 on my 224 alloys, 1 on the ZHP knob and 1 on the M steering wheel) - perfectly acceptable

I think some people are getting off the track a bit. The question was about suitability of 'M' badges on non-'M' cars, not about 'M' parts/accessories, which are perfectly acceptable, and of course I'm saying that because I think my 224's are finally on their way...
