thoughts on new 350z poll

i was in talks about buying one of these myself a few weeks ago, heavily modded. in the end i stayed with the Z4, these are completely different types of car, the Z4 demands respect and driving it gives you a feeling of being superior. meanwhile the 350Z, has an absolutely amazing soundtrack however is 255kg heavier, suppose its a personal thing, i didn't want to feel like i was taking a step back by moving into the heavily modded jap import scene again which is mostly full of younger generation.

if i couldn't have the Z4 then i would have no other car than the 350z.
 
no problem with changing the car but, kinda fancy a porka cayman myself but that one looks like chav central. wtf is that bonnet on. just looks like its crashed into a cheap version the the fast and tasteless.

ill admit ive not read the thread so im assuming its pretty quick if its heavily fettled but just on that picture alone im going to find the brain bleach.

It is fast atleast fast enough to beat a stock hr 350z stock its 245 to the wheels and its currently at 290. Under drive pullies, plenum spacer, nos ready to go just plug it in. Ect ect... So the the parts def are not for just show. And btw the bonnet/hood is actually a real carbon fiber bonnet not wrapped or painted. :driving: . You should give the thread a read. :thumbsup:

But as I say. To each there own. :P
 
The only opinion that counts here is Xiaxio's.
And I'm really not too sure why he asked for opinions, if he isn't prepared to get flamed, or at least fizzled.
 
I think these cars look great and for some reason Japanese sports cars look good modded. The only thing that really put me off the 350z and 370z for that matter is the lack of steering reach adjustment. As a tallish driver I felt the wheel was to far away and right where my knee wanted to be.
 
I don't mind moderately modified cars but that's a bit too much for me. Happy that you're happy with it though, it'd be a boring place if we all liked the same things. :driving:

I'm ready for the flames. I got my flame suit on and everything. Its just hard to tell that my hood isn't just black but carbon fiber :p
 
5 years ago I'd have loved one, and considered the 350z when I bought my Z4 roadster.

I think it looks ok. And can see the appeal :thumbsup:
