Thoughts on MFactory LSD install?

Hi all,

I stumbled across this MFactory helical HSD for the non-M Z4's: http://www.teammfactory.com/catalog/partno/MF-TRS-05E46A. Has anyone had experience with installing this, or any LSD retrofit in general? Any noticeable improvements? Curious especially for track use / getting traction while coming out of a corner.

I’ve got a retro fit LSD fitted. Cornering is way sharper, car feels a lot more balanced.

I had a Quaife LSD installed by Birds back in 2015 - been very happy with it

I have a Wavetrac ATB. Installed it mostly myself, it isn't too bad of a job. Can be done with the car on Jack stands on your drive in a day or less. Got plenty of info on that in my thread.

It’s Mat’s diff in my car now. Bought it when he was breaking. Didn’t actually know it was mfactory, just that it’s helical.

I have a Z4M diff (pumpkin) in case someone wants to chuck that in thier car, pulled it to replace with proper race diff.

A LSD is hands down the best mod you can make to the car. It should have been a crime to allow any Z4 to leave the factory without one.

Can confirm, LSD is the best mod. Short from supercharging and getting bucket seats, etc., I've done everything one would want to.
