Thoughts on "HELLA FLUSH", "STANCE"

Personally I think it looks interesting and I see why many people like that look. All you guys banging on about ruining the handling or that it wont cope on real roads etc are sort of missing the point. I SERIOUSLY doubt it's a daily driver or a track car or even sees any significant amount of mileage at all. It's not something I would do on my car but then again people tell me I should get a stubby and I say I prefer the looks of the stock antenna... :idunno:

I agree with you guys about the hight I would atleast raise it some more and get some airbags for those bad driveways or bumps maybe different rims and atleast paint the sticker bombs on the lips but a Z4 is suh an amazing car she's a beautiful machine I think she does like to play dress up

I'm all for the stance scene.

I just hate how the Yanks have nitto and we don't unless we're paying stupid money.

For those interested...my favourite car period and the resurrection.

You mean Nitto tires? Well the tread pattern on some models does look nice but you can get much better performing tires...

love it....

an "extreme mod" on here usually stops at fitting a set of CSL's .......yawn.
no wonder it's the most hated.... :D

K77SDH, yes! One epic build! Was so upset when I saw the pictures of the fire!

ga41, of course there'll always be better tyres out there, but Nitto have been known to stretch really nicely (like the falken fk452 or toyo proxy tr1's) but out performing the aforementioned tyres.

Ah. Don't usually think of tires in terms of strechability I'm afraid. :D That said I wouldn't mind some NT01, they're apparently the same compound as Toyo R888's (Toyo owns Nitto) but priced cheaper!

All the bits I like about it are standard Z4 bits. Everything else is not to my tastes, but the world would be a dull place if we all liked the same things.

As a piece of "artwork" I think its interesting - even good-looking.
And I'm happy to see folk experimenting with the look & function of cars once again - much better than cramming in the biggest sound system.

But as said before its style over substance - the "a to b" purpose of the vehicle is severely compromised - I would suspect to the point that is it unsafe at anything much over walking speed.
So I consider it a job half-done - if you could get the looks while retaining usability - then I'd think it great.
