Not too sure I agree about the blank service book..

I take my spanking jeep to the stealer for service every 5 k, and only once has the deuce bag stamped my book. It is after all all on the computer. (His stupid words, not mine)

My coupe has a few blanks in its service history, don't let that scare you off. It's all about tHe condition of the car, and once more, after all, it is all on the computer. : )

Funny story as I wanted a printout of the service history at the stealer when I was going to purchase my current car. and they wouldn't give me one as I was not the current owner. Wtf!!!

Not sure I understand where you're coming from, I always check the book before I leave the garage to keep it up to date. In part because it looks nice but also because I had problems checking the SH while looking for a car for the same reasons as you. Why add this extra hurdle for people to jump when it comes to selling on when fixing the problem is so simple?

The zed4 is the first second (3rd/4rth etc) hand car I've bought, that had a service history, what I was trying to say, is that condition of the car is a lot more important than a book with service history as you should be able to track that down regardlessly..

Thought I'd update on this car as it has been re-listed on Autotrader at the Premier Car Centre.

Looks like they've fixed the dodgy window regulator at the very least as the window wouldn't roll down when I saw it and it's down in the pictures.
