Thought I'd have a go at Hydro Dipping

Great write up...... been looking at the youtube vids might have to have shot on some bits and pieces

Hi all,

ive recently bought my first z4 ( coupe ) , it didn't come with the sat nav, however after reading on here about retro fitting ive now bought a sat nav center console for the dash and was planning on putting in a modern sat nav. i did consider a smart phone but have gone for a sat nav unit instead.

So i bought a Garmin Nuvi 2699 LMT-D, ive got to do a few tweaks to get it in but in first glance it looks like a pretty good fit. now to the bit relevant to this thread i was going to buy one of these hydro printing kits and do in carbon fibre as well as the aluminum dash trim, door handles and center bit around hand brake, is there any special prep needed for the different materials ill be using or shall i get it done pro? any idea's on cost for pro would be appreciated. north west area.

Thanks Tom.

Great result. Looks really smart. I saw a video of water dipping on FB and was amazed. I think they were doing different alloy wheels with various patterns or finishes.

Look forward to seeing more of your work.
