Hi guys and Happy New Year to all :)

I've got my eye out for a Z4 to replace my MX5 and came across this and wonder what people thought?
I know it's had 4 previous owners...should I be worried about that? And it's done 40k, not 38.
Drove the car and it was nice. Interior wasn't the most spotless I've seen, but then it hadn't been prepped.
I drove an 06 last week and it was a lot harder ride, could that be down to the fact it had 18" wheels and this has 17"?
It does have sat nav and heated seats which are nice extras, tho the sat nav said to insert a cd/dvd so don't know if that means it won't work without?
Figuring in 12 months main dealer warranty and European breakdown cover I'm telling myself it seems good value (the sales guy said it was at glasses trade price).

Any thoughts much appreciated
Jono

Looks like a fairly standard 3.0 in a good colour of Sterling Grey.
Private Reg inc.?
Ride can only be tyres as the 3.0 has the harder sport suspension
The 17" wheels are a downer as you'll want 18's really
Sat Nav is is good and mileage low.

Probably just needs a DVD in the drive but check that as cold be an expensive problem

Missing sport seats & xenons that woudl make it the most sought after

Nice looking car though.

Price depends on warranty, service history, etc. but probably just over a little

as above also its an auto which I found in my search were more plentiful and a tad cheaper than the manuals because of that. Are you sure the interior is of good enough quality?

Thanks guys.
Private reg is included.
Are 18s preferable for any other reason than they look better? If not I think I'd rather have the better ride quality.
The interior did look a little bit 'lived in', but I think it just needed a good clean more than anything.

!8's just look so much better and to some limited extent better corner grip due to lower profile tyres than 17's, but if you prefer them just for ride then go with it. I would however point out that by selecting a 3.0 you are by default getting the harder and 15mm lower sport suspension. Perhaps consider a 2.5 that does not have it specced, but then steer clear of auto as it's a gem on a 3.0 but too much for the 2.5

Interior needs to be spot on. Dirt is fine but worn bolsters, snags, etc. are expensive to fix. Shoudl be near mint on 40k miles.

There are currently 3 AUC with sat nav for under £12k. See this one below (no sports seats though). Why buy from independent dealers?

I experience the same - I dont think tapatalk can resolve the shorterned URL's that the forum seems to create (if you hover over the above URL you will see at the bottom of IE that the URL is infact missing some content - not sure they this happens on the forum)

PS The above looks a good spec for the money -

Jono,

Link to a check list in my signature to run through when buying 'pre owned' which includes a sat nav check.
