I have just been pointed to this thread...so lets put everyones mind at rest...yes I WILL BE ORGANISING the National meet Again this year, hopefully along with John** for the 5th z4-forum National meet.
It will also be staying IN THE LAKES/KENDAL ETC...As no other venues/locals are as good all-round prospects.
I have been in touch with John/sammyz purely to catch up with him and see how he is getting on and the mention of hopefully organising a cross-border Scots/English run in spring came up, but haven't got round to speaking about this years National as yet, as we have both been very busy with work, and John does indeed still have his lovely Imola Red M last I heard.
**Once I have spoke to John re Organising ,etc. I will get things rolling along quicker, as John is very much an Integral part of the Annual meets ,and 50% of the Organising team; as well as being a thoroughly nice bloke **and I wouldn't want to take his participation for granted,
...as of yet i have e-mailed a couple of companies re Raffle prizes etc....which this year I will be Limiting to ALOT less prizes, in the view of giving me less "polite grovelling "to do for Raffle prizes and also to allow more time for other things , as the Raffle was starting to take too long.
I also doubt I would be able to better previous years for the amount of good prizes I managed to get.
Will start a new thread on this soon folks, and will be getting Hotels/Campsites reserved also, as it's usually around this time of year when I do so.
