This is boo.... I had a similar situation with sugar and a gas tank... in another car... it seems there are a lot of haters out there no matter what when you have a nice car.... my Z4 coupe is on order from Cali and should be in next week... Lord knows I'll be garaging her at night but there is always the fear when at a store or during the work day... I hope it all works out for you and you're not out of pocket much.

Pretty p*ssed to say the least......and all other cars in the street (a quiet street in a nice area of Bristol) untouched. Things like this do make me question the state of society and also the logic behind having a nice car.
All in all a bad day which I'll be glad to see the back of. Hope everyone else had a better day!

I was waiting in a shop the other day and my car was pared across the street. In swoops a Merc C class and reserves into the spot ahead of mine.
Inch by Inch it creaps back and then it touched my car enough to make it rock (why the alarm didnt go off i dont know). Anyway, i walk over, pretty calm to inspect any suspect damage, there was none - but what annoyed me was that the driver said "i didnt touch your car" - HECK!!! I just walked off as it would have been a pointless dispute

Have hoovered off the majority of the glass this morning and think I will gently pour some water over the bonnet in the afternoon to clear the remaining bit of fine dust. Phoned the glass companies this morning, first one was only able to give me an appointment for the 15th March....thankfully second company has just called back confirming that they can do Saturday - phew!

Stuff like this almost makes me wants to lose the Zed and get an old heap that I couldn't care less about, just so I don't have to worry about jealous little scrotes taking out their inferiority on my pride and joy!
A year or so ago a couple of kids threw a brick off a motorway bridge at my mum and dad's car... Little sh*ts scored a direct hit on the windscreen! So glad there weren't any chips or cracks in it beforehand or it would have gone straight through, hate to think of the consequences of a brick hitting the driver of a car doing 80/90mph!
Glad they didn't do anything to the body work, mate... wouldn't it be a dreadful shame if they had some sort of terrible accident at some point soon!

Can't stand when people do stuff like this.Had my old E36 Keyed all the way down the side in greenwich £470 to repair...
First week I had my Z4,Met my cusin in Central Greenwich(what's up with Greenwich?) Parked in the underground car park(near cutty sark) Came back to fined my cus's 56 Plate A6 Sportline driver window smashed.Central control destroyed ...leathers scuffed from the brick.My car was park next to his.The least I can say is my heart was pounding while checking over my baby ,lucky i found nothing.
Actual yesterday found a some red paint on my wing mirror..I use the car once a week aswell lol.
It never end's dude.

ouch, really sorry to see that. Had one of my old cars keyed down the drivers door many years ago and that really really pissed me off. One of the neighbours at the time had a CCTV camera outside their house so I went straight to them. Found out then they hadn't been recording anything that night - in fact most nights they didn't because they had to remember to set the video to record. :x
Sad fact is these people will get away with it, and quite possibly do it or something similar again. If the next government or two doesn't get their finger out their arse then this country will end up with vigilantes for neighbourhood watch.
Not even on the same scale, but the other day I spent hours polishing out dents & scratches on our second car. Within a week someone had dented the wheel arch with their door or supermarket trolley. It was probably a complete accident or result of competely ignorance & carelessness, but you do wonder if there are people out there actively looking for anyone with a decent car or showing pride in their car so they can do some damage.
