Interesting. Can't see it getting made though, think the i8 is what will happen, is there room for an M6 and an M8 and how much would the M8 have to be.

The 8 was & is a classic but to bring it back in its same guise would be a big mistake , life moves on & BMW are capable of better than merely revamping an old flame 8)
It would be nice if they rolled out a whole new £100k supercar though , sure it would be well received

I'm sure if it did roll out it would be £120-£130k plus options and I'd hope BMW don't restrict it to 155, that would sure put me off as would the big deprecation high-end BMW's suffer.

But never say never :)

Interesting to see what that says about the economic prospects. I wonder what their MS&F team knows that mine don't... (Market sizing and forecasting)

I'm sure there are always enough people to purchase a car like this with limited production no matter what the global outlook. :)

True that. There will always be a multi-millionaire downsizing from a Zonda to save money - for some folks, spending £150-200k on a car is economising.

Don't think it'll be that expensive I'd say circa £120-130k, no one in their right mind would spend more than that on a BMW if purchasing the car privately given the depreciation of the brand.

I do like BMW's though and I'd seriously take a look in at it 2015, but in that price range there are a few other cars more desirable, I did have a letter of intent for a 991 turbo but I've expunged that

This is my V8 front runner at the moment for the same cost.
