This is what I had before my Z4

Nissan Silvia (it is actually a Silvia, japanese import spec)

Road legal track car.

Engine swapped, LS1 with monkfish magic cam, livernois ported heads, blah blah blah probably about 450hp at the flywheel.
Sikky conversion kit, full custom engine loom on stock ECU, full custom exhaust, Kaaz 1.5 way Race diff, Sikky Roll bars, full caged, Rocket Bunny boss bodykit (GRAMS repro version)
It sat on 315 rear tyres, they were beefy bois.

Bunch of other stuff I haven't listed.

I had to sell this because I simply ran out of funds, it cost me £1200 a year to insure and I still had a ton of stuff I wanted to do to it that would never get finished.

I own the Z4 because I wanted something cool that wouldn't need much stuff doing to it, and it certainly fits the bill.

If anyone else has/had some cool toys please show me!

That is certainly beefy more like an American muscle car . I like it apart from the spoilers sorry :) . I bet it sounded the nuts

nice silvia!

i've just recently got rid of this, always wanted one, nice to have one at 32 but couldn't be arsed with the jealousy and the associated R8 tax

Man that's nice, there was a time I could afford a V8 R8 but I went another direction.

I don't regret it, but I do always wonder what it's like to own one.

I had this for a year. it was a nice car, but no way worth the ~£55k price tag. I have just as much fun in the Z4 at almost a 10th of the price.

Ooh best colour too. Interesting point of view, I had suspected that my Z4 coupe would feel rather similar to the new Supra, given their lineage.

Good to know it's not worth the hype.

It's definatley cool to say you've owned a super car. Coming back to down to z4 is not the one but it's just not worth the hassle to me, it spent more time in the zed shed than in my garage, there's definatley something to be said about buying the cheapest one you find

Interested to see what you do with a z4 anyway. This is my current one (I've had 14 )

14, jesus you really like them lol

I don’t have much Major planned tbh, mostly cosmetic stuff and maintenance, did the clutch this week, I’ve put some nice wheels and bits on, can’t afford to go full ham with a build.
If I ever get the cash I may get some bc12 coilovers, a decatted header and a decent intake but otherwise it’s remaining pretty boring.

I've been through a plethora of vehicles in the past 5-6 years, some Z4's as well before my current one. In order
2008 Mazda MX-5 2.0 Sport

2010 BMW E89 Z4 23i sDrive

2007 BMW E86 Z4M Coupe

1996 Mazda MX-5 1.8 Gleneagles

2009 Abarth 500

2014 Jaguar F-Type V6S

2016 Jaguar F-Type V8R Convertible

And my current sporty rides...
2021 Toyota Supra 3.0 Pro

2007 BMW E86 Z4M Coupe

Hard to pinpoint a favorite, they all have their pros/cons.
I'd say the Supra feels the sportiest and most capable in terms quick driving. The FType V8R was a riot and had an incredible soundtrack, I also loved my MK1 MX-5's as they were both restoration projects. Hmmm, I think an all round sporty daily I'd pick the Supra and as a weekend toy/road-trip car I'd take the V8R.

Nice selection there dude, I’ve always been a fan of F types.

My car before the S14 was a Monaro vxr so I’ve got a soft spot for V8s

Just before Z4 I had an Miata NB Icon 1.8iS model, love every bit of her, I repainted her in original colour and keep her in original condition. Icon model came in limited edition (around 750) with lower suspension, larger breaks, LSD, more power and 6 speed manual.
