there is no known cure for stupidity.. thats why we have police marksmen, under used in my opinion.. :lol:
 
Doesn't always work quite like that has though.

I reversed into a Land Rover Defender, several months back, in my little Mazda2. Gentle but solid clunk. :o Looked like I was at least a foot off it, from the driver's seat. So I hopped out to check and :lol: he had a massive winch on the front of it, happily I have a tow bar on the back of the Mazda, so it was almost evens. :wink: We looked each other square in the eye, smiled and I got back in my car and drove off. Noubt needed saying. :oops: :rofl: :thumbsup:
 
This is normal parking here in Spain, they don't give two hoots about the fact that they have just hit someone eles's car. As you can see they hit the car parked it and left couldn't even be bothered to move it a little. Quite often you see people opening their car doors at full force and hit the car next to them, get out and walk away without even looking at any possible damage. They have no respect for their own car let alone someone else's. Needless to say I park my car miles away from anyone and in a spot where others can't get near me if I can help it.

I witnessed this from a hotel balcony a number of years ago in Spain. I was interested as I thought there was no way the gap was big enough.
However, the driver just nudged the car behind and in front until they were 'in'!
Got out and walked off without a second glance :(

Yep..standard stuff on the continent. Most French towns seem to do this. Literally everyone drives crappy 20 / 30 year old French cars covered in dings. If they can't get out when they come back, they just push one of the cars until they can!! Be interesting to know what view the insurance companies take!
