I've never noticed another Z do this before, but caught the back of this '///M' earlier, caught him up and it obviously isn't one, why put the badge on ???

At least this looks sporty.

Makes me laugh when you see the 116d with a ///M badge.

I agree though, what is the point.
 
I suppose he can do what he wants with his own car!

Maybe it makes it go faster :evil:

Not at all, some other BMW models are M Sport so I've seen the badge on those but never on a Z, just surprised really, thankyou for asking :P
 
Cars may be M sports but not an ///M car. I'm with you on this one. One of my big pet hates. Massive face palm to that guy. Seen much worse tho! Like when they put one on the right side of the car keep the Z badge then put one on the grill.

Fair play but pretty lame.
 
When I got my second Z3 it had an M badge on it but the VIN definitely told me it was a 3.0i. The m badge looked good on Casey (my dog). She's sporty ! :rofl: :rofl:

the only thing that pissed me off was that the git scratched up the paint getting the glue off where the original 3.0 was... :thumbsdown:
 
Hah, I don't get the hate for it. It's a bit stupid, but if he wants to stick a sticker on his car then whatever

It's ridiculous,almost pitiful, but that said, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

Just take that and be happy in the knowledge that you have more than just the badge :wink:
 
Both my previous E46 330 and current E90 335 were/are both MSport. My gf continues to think its funny by pointing at the M logo adorned gear knob and door trim before smiling and saying 'but its not really an M though is it'.

I'm not bothered about the brand, that's for Harley Davidson and Levi's to go to court over, just don't like anything pretending to be something else, if it was an M Sport fair play. :roundel:
