This is how to understand what the Carly options do

Hey everyone,

Last weekend [ref]davidmudley12[/ref] was so kind to help me reprogram some bits on my Z and he said one thing he didn’t like is that the Carly app doesn’t tell you what the different coding options actually do, so some are quite cryptic.

I found that they list functions and explanations on the website and thought that might help some of us:

I'd like to set it so the lights blink when locking/unlocking. Any way of doing that without Carly? Thanks

You can use NCS Expert and NCS Dummy with a suitable OBD lead.

You can use BMW Scanner 1.4 but NCS expert/dummy gives you a lot more coding options.
