Hi all
I must firstly say that this forum has been amazing to me. I find myself reading at every opototunity. My wife thinks I'm a little mad and acting like a kid but boys do need their toys ( and girls so it seems....;) )
I have learned all sorts of things that bring me closer to my machine so thanks for everyone's input.

I have had my silver grey 2006 3.0 si with red leather and all the toys for 3 months now and although the sun is harder to find when I do steel some time away from running a business and having 4 kids still makes me smile when I slide into the car!!

So far I have changed the stock air filter with a K & N, sound gen mod, stubby, and have a full customer alloy 3 piece strutt brace coming from Canada today.... Hopefully.
Next woul be to ditch the shockingly poor runflats. My thinking is to upgrade the rims at the same time.

This is where I need ur help.....
Can any one surgest the best optimum wheel set up ???
I want to go 19s but don't understand the offset I need. I do like the 313s but want to get the set up I need on paper then go search 'flea bay' . I'm not interested in lowering or doing any suspension mods so need the best set up to fill the holes with no rubbing or future problems

Over to U.......

Thx dear friends

I've stuck with 18s so can't help you choose 19s but you will find sites like these are useful:

Half Colin- cheers thanks for the tip

Johnny Essex - agreed , have run flats at mo and they are shocking!!

Ooooo I like the exsclusivity!

Strutt brace should off been here on Tuesday but apparently customs have hold it and want £35 import duty and admin fees....

As for pics..... I spent nearly an hour trying to upload to photo bucket and failed miserably
Must be doing something wrong.

Any tips for photo upload..... Pls

Tinypic.com is always good for quick photo uploads, obviously if you do use them, it becomes their property I think.

Be interested to know where you got your strut brace from and how much? The only ones I've seen cover the oil filler cap on the 3.0si; and whilst that's not a major issue, I would prefer something that didn't if I'm shelling out money.

Cheers
08 3.0si!

I got it today so will reveal all when I get a chance to fit it. Hopefully tomorrow.
It is from Cosmo racing in Canada. Actual brace was a bargain at £160 but with £60 carriage and £35 import duty. Total £255 so £50 cheaper than an oem brace with added benefit that this comes with a 3 part system and replaces the steel braces installed as stock.

I'm still unable to work out how to convert my photos to 120x 120 so can't upload ..... Sorry! :headbang:
