Very true - I thought a 2l would be fine, ended up replacing it with an Alpina :)
 
Great thread and I echo all that has been said.

I thought online forums only covered, shall we say, more personal matters, but joining this forum was a great move.

I hope that one day I will be a lifer. :thumbsup:
 
Couldn't agree more with Op. But yeah being part of this Community makes me spend way more money than I should!
 
This is a great forum, I've been lurking about for a couple of years now, friendly crowd with a wealth of knowledge between them. Love getting together for the drive outs and meets (don't miss out on the Duxford meet/picnic :thumbsup: ). Also made some new friends on here which is great.
 
To be fair this forum has proved me wrong... Being bmw I thought be full of owners that reply to problems with... "take it to your local bmw garage" but there are quite a few diy how twos and good topics! Being from classic mini forum originally which is crazy helpful this is top too...

This is my first night on the forum and I can't believe how popular it is! I didn't realise car were forums this busy? Reassuring to know there's loads of help available for the z4 :thumbsup:
 
I definitely rate this as one of the best forums I have belonged too . The technical know how is fab. I would also like to give a mention to another forum I belong too. I have a Nissan Navara and Nissan Navara.net is on an equal par with this site. Keep up the good work. Its brilliant.
