The pins of the "newer" covers are indeed different, maybe longer.

Eigentlich Robbi, ich würde sagen das die auch nicht stark genug sind, und hätten bei mir trotzdem raus gerissen!
 
Well, I think the main difference will be the increased length, as the elder pins are too short to fix the new brackets.

Yes, and the smoothness of the Old pins means they just pull out as they have no grip to resist against the pull of the net mechanism. The newer style pins will grip.

As I didn’t have these new ones, I found a way to secure it using nuts and bolts instead.
