Whilst browsing the forum today I noticed how many were on line, about 80, this made me think of what we are all doing on here, so question is what ya doing?

As for me, I am setting up an ANSYS CFX run which will simulate the fluid flow through a valve nozzle/body at supersonic flow, which will take about 6 hours to complete (the run not the set up) and then I am going to have some fun outside :)

Oh and listening to a Radiohead complilation :D

Im going to power wash the decking, cut the grass and then mark about 40 exam papers. so, to recap im having a s**t bank holiday :(
 
I don't think the weather allows me to wash my car this afternoon. It is quite cloudy down here.
 
I'm on a mission today. Done front and back garden already and taken all cuttings etc to the tip.

Now waiting to see if it stays dry for more than 5 minutes before giving the Zed its weekly clean & hoover. If not the garage is going to get a clear out.
 
Marking half a dozen narratives which I didn't finish the other day, then planning for classes for the next couple of days. Will be watching a bit more snooker in a bit, though, I imagine!
 
Going to my eldest daughters house and making sure the builders are constructing her kitchen extension properly :)

EDIT, builders did not turn up!! :cry: :)
 
Busy building in the garden, and then helping at home - building up brownie points in case Rob gets around to organising the joint Z4 / 350Z run in 2 weeks time! :poke: - just come in for a break whilst the weather decides between hail or sunshine - Kids busy buying up Harvey Nichols - so their allowances are going bang in one swoop. :)
 
Well I didn't go outside, well I did, but it was cold so came back in, roll on summer I say

just looking out the window and its hailing, for goodness sake I need to move somewhere warmer!
 
I've just had torrential rain, hail, then back to mega sunny all in about 5mins.

Preparing for new kitchen / heating / building work here too, car isn't getting a look in at the moment, except to do serious mileage.

On a side note, did anyone see me on TV yesterday? I was sitting behind Messrs Graeme Dott & Neil Robertson 8) :lol:
 
Sorry to say that our holiday in May isn't until the 24th. (Victoria Day)

I'm putting together a "working" file for our Pipeline inspection project upcoming next week. We get to run IPCITS (Intelligent Pipeline Corrosion Inspection tool, or more commonly known as "Smart Pigs") through a bunch of sour gas pipelines, at a horrendous cost. Then I get to rebuild a spreadsheet of all the major approved projects for the complex for this year and put it all into MS Project in a simplified form so the Mgmt. can understand it. (lots of basic colours and simple text. :rofl: )

PS : don't feel bad for me, I only work 4 days a week so every weekend is a long one... :thumbsup: :thumbsup:
 
Had to take the 4x4 and trailer to Wickes at Swansea to buy a load of building materials so that Her Indoors can have an outbuilding converted to office space. Passed a black and a silver roadster en route which pissed me off :x
 
Had to go to work this morning we were so busy that i spent most of the morning on here or surfing the net, Took a half day, The effort of getting out the car closing the garage and getting into the house was so much that I had to sit Down, Unfortunatly there was football on the TV..........that was me for the afternoon, Football, beer, and an unhappy wife trying to vacuum around me.

Still i made up for it by laying the table for dinner, She should be happy with that effort don't you think. :wink:

Err, I never have naps, never have and never will, I just never get tired, (thank goodness) :) :) :) that is for old people, went to bed at 3.30 am today (don't ask) usually up at 7.30 am

If you start acting old you get old. I believe that to be a fact. Not to sure about staying up all night anymore coz I get up at 5am every day, maybe 7 on a weekend. (The animals won't let me sleep any longer :lol: )
