Third Brake Light

They come up very rarely on here and eBay. You could try a breakers, but most have had to go the dealer route :(

White is cheaper than red though ;)

I tried e-Bay, looked at some breaker merchants - but found the convenience and peace of mind, getting it new from a dealer wasn't much more in the end to pay.

I replaced mine just recently. Only had a couple of the LEDs working. Just do be careful attaching the new one, only tighten the nuts marginally. The spring keeps it in place otherwise you can over tighten, then break the plastic. Good luck.

Dealer ones also come with 2 year warranty. Well worth it, especially as mine cracked 3 months after buying.

About £55 for a clear one from Soper - get the weaker springs and washers: 63 25 6 900 698 and 07 11 9 931 105, 3 of each, about £6 extra.

My third light cracked a couple of years ago and repaired it by taking it apart, gluing from the inside then reinforcing from the inside with a strip of sellotape right across the lens.
Unfortunately another case of designed to fail as there is a cut-out halfway across which is profiled so as to cause a split point if the boot is shut with gusto shall we say.... :)
