Third brake light

Hi, I'm looking to replace the worn out gasket on the rear third brake light, but the only part number I can find for this part is for a Z3.
BMW Genuine Third Stop/Brake Lamp/Light Gasket E36 Z3 63258389735 (Item number 2)
Does anyone know if this one will fit or may be the correct part number.

Gasket is stuck to the light, only option is a new light or find something that will work as an alternative. Would suggest silicone, but it's a bugger to remove if you needed to later.

Agree with above don't mess about just get new unit around £60. cheers Baz
