Third brake light springs

Just got around to ordering a new center brake light to replace the cracked one currently fitted. Had a quick look and I think it's the original light with the original springs. Ive read somewhere on here that you should fit replacement springs to stop the new light cracking, would these be the ones and do I need 3?

Any advice or fitting tips appreciated

Sorry for jumping in on this, I need a new third light myself as my one is cracked, I'm struggling to find one that's not from China and is going to take until the end of August to be delivered! Where did you get yours from?!

Take a look at this thread I prepared earlier.

Link to OEM replacement in first post on page 2.

FYI I reused my old spring too. No issues thus far. :D

They are the ones I got (although they are half the price I paid!!!) and I was assured they are the newer ones. My third brake light is still crack-less after about a year.
