I've noticed some 2005-2006's with red third brake light. I thought all recent productions had clear !?

I thought that might initially been an "M" thing. :?

I'd love a clear one for the coupe, but don't know that they exist.

No one has yet to come up with a clear light for the coupes. A fair amount of interest but apparently not enough to justify the production costs. One would look great on my AW coupe.

That's one group buy I'd be into. :D The coupe does look stunning in AW... No many cars can pull off white, but the Z4 does it with style to spare. How about clear reflectors? Small detail, big difference!

The front euro clear reflectors do make a big difference.

Kinda OT... just noticed you're in San Diego. Great town. Lived there for a few years, back just before the turn of the century. At the time, I had a Z3 (2.3, dark green, black top, tan interior). The perfect Southern CA car, my first convertible and first BMW.

Some great drivin' to be had out there.

And the roads aren't to bad either. Where were you located?

It's been a while, so my memory is a bit off (even though I have family out there in the Mission Gorge area). When I first moved to SD, I was in the Hillcrest neighborhood, on Albatross. The house had an AWESOME view of the bay and was well priced... because it also had an awesome view of the airlines as the passed by a hundred yards away. It was so close to the landing pattern you could way at the passengers.

Then I moved in with a girl down near Gelato's and Shakespeare's Pub. Our office moved from downtown to Solana Beach, which opened up a whole new world of daily driving adventures... I occasionally find myself thinking of moving back. Great town. Great times.

Cheers.
