Got one of those too and although lovely I would prefer a M3 CSL but do love the Porsche bring a smile every time you see or hear it. But a very different car.
I do have a soft spot for porsche's, had a few of them
Im not sure they are that different in performance terms, the C2S can play both the hooning machine and its better at the everyday thing. The Csl also feels a bit more fragile.
A lot of people assume the 911 is more of a GT car, but when pushed, its a proper sports car
Well its sporty enough 8) JUst ried a mates 997.1 S 3.8. Very nicely built, torquey low down but it left me a bit cold to be honest. Nothing happens (like it does with the S54) below 5000 rpm, then its great but you run out at 7000 rpm vs 8000 on the ZM. It was very mutted to. To be honest I'd only tried a GT3 3.8 before and whilst it maised me how comunicative and intense it was, this 997 was just a bit bland and boring in everyway compared to our Z's. NO doubt its a better GT than the Z and probably technically a better sports car too, but I would not swap it. I'll sell you the Z and my hot girlfriend for a GT3 though
