One of my favourite places to spend Lunch - as it was Endeavour's - also appears in the books but it's not the pub at the end od the Remorseful Day where he quotes Housman that's in Old Marston.

Quite a big Morse Fan :oops:

:thumbsup: Must be something in the water! Funny thing is, I used to live off the Cowley Road near to Magdalen Bridge and its where I learnt to drive. As I was test driving on Sunday I had flashbacks of driving a Ford diesel watching out for foreign students stepping into the road and looking the wrong way :lol:
