Thinking of selling E85 for an MC - include 224s?

Hoping for some guidance from the experts!

Due to mistakenly browsing the vehicles for sale forum along with AT and Pistonheads, I now really want to get myself a Z4MC!! As a result I am contemplating selling my E85 2.5SI SE Zed (see introduction post - (http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=63428) and pondering whether to sell it with the current 16" 104 alloys or whether to put on the set of 224s I have.

The former would most likely require me to replace both rears (approx cost £100?) as they are getting quite worn. The latter would require me to refurb the 224s and replace all four wheels (approx cost £750).

Are M wheels on a non-M likely to put buyers off or would it improve my chances of a possible sale? Need to weigh up the pros and cons as there is quite a difference in cost.

Cheers,
Tom

You bought it with the bottle tops on so no reason why someone else won,t
Your car will sell on its condition, spec & more importantly the mileage so i would sell the 224,s & revert back to standard

You won't regret the move. I did similar from a 3.0 E85 in January

I would sell with the 16s on and keep the 224s for winter wheels

Cheers for the advice guys! Think sticking with the smaller wheels is the best way to go for now - its a great looking car so hoping I won't have trouble selling it.

Online car evaluation suggested £8700 for a private sale - any thoughts on that as a ballpark figure?

Headline spec items:

- RPC
- MFSW
- LOGIC 7 professional stereo
- Sat Nav
- Metallic paint
- Auto-dimming rearview mirror
- Auto headlights and rain sensor
- 6 CD changer
- Active sports leather/sports fibre upholstery
- storage package
- M-sports suspension

So excited at the prospect of owning an MC - keep looking at all the pics on here, such a good looking car, and power sounds awesome! The recent weather has made me question the coupe slightly but for most of the year, the roof is up so hopefully won't miss that too much! :?

You'll need to put the current mileage up, and confirm it has a full service history, for people to give a useful opinion

Current milleage is 30600 I believe - rarely drive the car so hasn't gone up much since my introductory post.

Would appreciate input on the service history actually. :)

Its first listed service was an Inspection 1 at 19k in 2010, followed by an oil service at 29k earlier this year. I didn't know much about service intervals etc when I bought the car so didn't pay too much attention - just saw a well kept car.

Slightly concerned that this service history is a little sparse - although given the low millage, perhaps not?

EDIT - car is currently showing 5k till next service (inspection 2).
