Thinking of selling a modded Z4? Or put back to stock first?

Hey everyone,

I have recently bought another car, and am thinking of selling my Z4 (again lol). It is currently lightly modified and am wondering what the general concious is when it comes to selling. It would be easier for me to sell it as it currently is, but would it be more reallistic to put it back to stock first before selling? The car its self is immaculate, but I am weary of people being put off "modded" cars so to speak

Mods are: 437M Forged alloy wheels, Eibach Springs, BMS Intakes, VRSF Downpipes, MHD Stage 2, Smart Top, LCI Indicators, White angel eyes.

Thanks!

Hi, i think your potential market would be larger if you returned the car to standard, you’d probably make more money doing so as well after selling your upgrades separately 8)

I would be interested in your VRSF Downpipes and 437M Forged alloy wheels when you put it back to stock to sell it

I think the general consensus is going to be 'Return to standard to increase buyer pool', agree with Rob - You will probably make more if you standard and then sell mods - could take more time but might be worth it, down to you.
Depending on your timescales you could throw on forum as is - then if nobody on here has her, return to standard and go down the normal car sale?

Best of luck either way! What have you got that pushing the Zed out?

It's pot luck in a sense - you could put it up 'as is' and it may tick all the boxes for someone who's looking for a Zed with a difference. You're obviously not going to get back what you have invested in your mods. If it sits around with little or no interest then I guess you could take it back to stock and recover some of the cost of modifying.

Thanks for the input everyone, I took the Z4 out earlier and realised I can't part with it, Im sure I would regret it when summer comes back around haha. Glad to see there is lots of interest in my parts tho lol! I have just picked up a lovely Civic Type R FK2, which will be joined by a GTR in the not to distant future. The Z4 will also be kept. Thanks for the input everyone
