I find it hard to get excited over 99% of new Bmws ( as of the past 3-4 years) bland + mundane would not be out of place on any sales bumphh :(
Colour is " ok " , not exactly popping like Interlagos does :) & hard to set it apart from the rep mobiles ,
This pic would sum up the problem for me , is it a M4 , 4 coupe or is it a 3 series :? doesn't even look like a genuine ///M car

Is that really an M4?! It looks like an ordinary 4 series to me.
Yep I think the op's brother is getting a bit over excited, that ain't no m4! One of these oh I have an M... Sport 420d types? Deary me
Here's my neighbours m4 for reference. Note the 4 pipes, deep dish rears and completely different rear bumper. Also his rear discs are not drilled which a real m4 definitely has.
Did he honestly tell you he'd bought an M4?

Can't see the point of having two cars the same colour. If you want a different coloured zed change the car but silver and red look good to me

That’s not an M4 OP, but either way it’s a non-M 4 Series.

If you want to try out a new colour, I’d suggest you get it wrapped. This will cost you circa £1,000 and will not devalue your car (as you can always take it off come re-sale). A proper paint job is around £5,000 and is just not worth it imo.
