Well guys, i have'nt been away for long (about 7 months...) but i'm already considering selling what i've got in order to fund Zed ownership again. I'm trying my hardest to resist but i keep coming back on here for a quick look at what you're all up to and looking at your lovely cars. Can't decide on 3.0si coupe or roadster but will have a budget of £12k max, will maybe hold out until late march before i buy but i feel excited already at having one again!... i'll be keeping an eye out for interesting examples on here, ebay autotrader, pistonheads etc etc. It's this forum's fault, you're all so damn nice and approachable!.... :D

always good to see people come back to the Z4 world :D look forward to seeing what you choose (i vote soft top  )

Hahahahaha didn't take long matey, you missed it after going my coupe didn't you? Haw about an M coupe chap.

Mate buy an M. Yeah they cost a little more to run but it's fucking epic fun.!!

One thing I've really noticed on mine from a styling point of view is the bonnet. It looks fantastic and gives the car a really mean look.

Secondly is the noise, oh my god the noise

Thanks for the food for thought guys, Carl...... you're a BAD influence!..haha!. we need a meet up soon dont we? An M is tempting but would be lucky to get one for £12k

One of the ads I posted is around the 12k mark. But you need to drive one to see how you feel with M ownership, and yes chap we need to catch up again. Been a while.

Welcome back - with that budget I'd go for a late model low mileage 3.0si Sport with all the toys. You will have some cash left for the CDV delete and perhaps a remap

Nope, only a 3.0si will do i'm afraid..... leaning more toward roadster!.... what's the general opinion on the auto/paddleshift box in the z4? any good?. i'm seeing a lot of these on autotrader etc, more so than manual

Most will sway towards the manual, but the auto is more than capable of all the manuals best traits but with the laziness if town driving. My auto is brilliant around town, but on the Welsh drives I go manual and have plenty of fun. Have a drive of an auto and see if you can live with it day to day.
