See thats the main reason im not 100% with going wrap I do love my detailing and I love a shiny car. I think im going to leave it for now and see what happens later down the project it will be changing over the next six months so lets see.

The colour maybe be changing, but that's only half the story. It will be a plastic finish.
You can't beat real paint work, especially when polished. That glorious deep shine.

All wrapped cars I've seen in the flesh have that shiny plastic look to it, especially when the sun is shining.
I'd pay the little bit extra and get it re sprayed if you really wanted it white and enjoy washing and polishing it.

Wrap it, and your polishing days are over....along with that nag in the back of your mind that you wished you had paint.

Paying a little bit extra… A profession respray is 3-4k thats 2-3k more than a wrap hence why wraps are popular.

plus if you get bored with the colour yours is still over the wrap so no harm done.

Yet to see an E85 / E86 in a solid colour that truly looks bad (within the realms of standard colours - yes there are some non-standard colours that are good, some very bad!).
Personal preference I guess. I think Dale B's white E86 above looks great, and all the better for being so rare compared to more recent models.

I'm not sure of longevity / cleaning though. Maybe better with a clear bra to protect the nose? Again, personal preference on those too.

That's super cheap, it's usually around £2000 + I'd worry only paying £700, That old saying you pay for what you get.
You hear those horror stories of when people take the wrap off with nasty cut lines everywhere in the paint.

You've already got a great colour, pay to get it professionally detailed (don't mistake with valet), with pro equipment that measures the thickness of the paint and treats it so the paint has a glass finish. It took them two days to do the car, It was the best ever £300 I spent.

It would not be £700 normally thats mates rates. I have seen his work on more than one car and its very good. I dont know im thinking just leave it and spend it on getting the engine bay done.
