Keep the E86 but then buy a cheap (sub £3k) E85 for summer?

hmm good thinking bud. In 2 minds at the moment so not for definite yet.
Do that Kieran best of both. It's what I did. But in reverse.

:driving:

Fook it ill just do that  everyone forget this post unless you have a supercharged E85

That looks like a beautiful car. I have just sold my E85 Roadster and replaced it with an E89 3.5is in Melbourne Red. I get the best of both worlds. The luxury of a hardtop and the freedom of an open top. But the E89 is a very different beast from the E85/86. It is heavier and more of a GT/Cruiser. Although I love being able to put the top down I would think very carefully before swapping such a beautiful car as the one you already own. The advice being offered about looking for a cheap E85 seems sound to me. If you can afford it there are plenty of good ones for sale at reasonable money. I am sure we will all be interested in what you decide.

Great looking car there - looks like you’ve put a lot of thought and effort into it so I’d agree with the others about getting a cheap second car - sure you’d miss yours!

Can you share any info on the D2 big brake kit mate? I didn’t think there was a full front rear BBK for the non m cars? Where did you get them? Much modification needed to fit it?

So ... as a keeper... you could always change ‘the boots’ for a new look?

Then you could sell me your OEM CSL’s.... Mr Wilks has a nice set of lightweights & I could have yours :@)

Legend. Thanks mate.
