Thinking of changing - But to what?

Be serious - getting in and out of those things is hardly stylish unless you're 30 and whippet thin. DB9s or Vantages can be had for £30k and they are an Event too :)

My mate Rob has a V8 Vantage....it just cost him £6000 for a steering rack...

Here's one for you. And a mere whisker under £19k.

Have had a sniff at 6 series, saw a nice 650sport manual cabrio about a year ago , very rare beast with that box,but was a bit overpriced, thought about an M3,could be tempted, would love a Cobra ,but alas, I filled in my garage a few years ago to make an office ( I work from home).I only had the hots for bikes at the time and built a dirty great workshop in my back garden for the 4 bikes I had then.I thought about Ginetta's and Cobra's and all sorts like that before I bought my Z,but decided that a car that sits outside 24/7 needs to be more modern and reliable and water tight. That's my only issue with a TVR,not sure it'd like sitting out in all weathers.I've always wanted one, ever since i drove a couple of Griffith 500's,the owner of which was transported back from Le Mans 2 years running on a yellow lorry!!I'm happy to get the spanners out,and quite enjoy tinkering, ( I'm building a Paris-Dakar replica BMW GS bike at the moment) but it's full engine rebuilds that scare me.
I saw that T350 on autotrader and must admit am tempted to go and hav a look.Hello nice Mr bank manager............................... :D

The only thing I'd contemplate changing my Z4MC for would be a nice e46 CSL.

V8 M3 does nothing for me, nor does the V10 M5 - if I wanted something burbly & automatic then I'd go to AMG who've been doing it better than BMW for years.

Anything exotic (Maserati, Ferrari, Lambo, Aston) may seem good VFM to buy, but even independent servicing is expensive. Just ask Rob at Grimaldi Engineering, who, despite all the Italian exotica he works on, is making an M8 (850csi with about 500bhp eventually), and keeps asking me when I'm going to sell him my Z4MC.

Oh, another shout for an e46 M3 CSL here. My mate has had 3 of them and they are absolutely awesome. Incredibly noise, so much grip, stiffer than a GT3 and they spit flames. I don't care how old you are, that NEVER gets old.

6 series and the current e9x series M3s are just way too boring for a toy (guessing that's what it is since you have a company car)

I'd also think about a Noble over a TVR. They have the kind of super car looks that make people get the phone out. Had a passenger ride in 1 round Donnington and it was very impassive.

My only experience of a TVR is that if you drive it sedately or only in straight lines it's fine. Make a mistake and it will kill you.

Ahhh you see I am 28 and slim/muscular (haha) build so would be perfect for me!

Op can you afford a Nissan GTR?

Defo can't afford a GTR, and I don't have an ego big enough to drive an Aston or Lambo. Would love a Fezza 355, but they're getting silly money now.Might have a look at an Exige, never fancied one as only a 4 cyl engine, I like more cylinders in my toys. It's funny, when you really start looking, you realise just how good our Z's are. I really fancy a T350, it's different enough from my Z to make it worth splashing the cash,AND going up in value. If I went for a 911, they are still falling quite quickly.Am getting my steering wheel recovered by Royal steering wheels , in black alcantara, it's being fitted on Saturday. We'll see if a trip to Racing Green TVR after may make me jump ship, they've got a lovely T350 in blue in stock.

See if you can get a test drive. If you survive without spinning into a ditch or exploding in a glue fuelled fireball then it's obviously meant to be.

is it the lazer blue that i might have come across the other week on their website....
i wish i had the balls mate...
go for it, looks like a minter
and the PERFECT colour combo inside and out

Another one I'd think ticks your boxes in a nice Viper, with two tone leather. Not much of a track car, but definately an event and bullet proof. To say nothing of the get the camera out looks and a sound to die for.

Don't get me wrong you have to respect a TVR but I had mine for six years & never ended up in a ditch! & I behaved like a clown for 4 years before that in a 200sx aswell so I enjoy having fun.

If I had the money I would buy a Nissan GTR but I love power...I miss the thrill of the TVR & the zed doesn't get close which makes me a little sad but maybe my expectations are a little too high as the zed is a little on the heavy side, as is the GTR but that has lots of power!

I hope you get something that ticks all the boxes for you OP, I wish you all the best :)
