Thanks 2dogs, gave them a call today and looking promising, Sytner Nottingham wanted nearly £2K all in and needed a CSL chassis number too.

In answer to the OP.
I believe BMW did change the CSLs slightly.
A member on here (Hamza, imola Z4MC) had a single wheel replaced (I think due to damage during a refurb) and said that it looked very slightly different, he couldnt put his finger on it, but it didnt quite look right. Anyway, when he checked the spokes were ever so slightly thinner. In the end he replaced all four to make sure they matched.
I can't remember the exact reason, but Hamza did say that BMW confirmed there was a difference between later and earlier sets.
Anyway, this is all third hand information. Might be worth contacting Hamza for some extra info.
