Thinking about buying 2004 2.5

About to take a close look at this beautiful black 2004 2.5. Any advice or suggestions?

I read something about springs being an issue. Anything else? Thanks all. This would be my first BMW and I have wanted one for a long time.
 
I have a 04 2.5SE, bought it new. The only issues I have had in the 7 years and 62,000 miles is the coil packs which were replaced under warranty and the rear springs which I replaced with Eibachs all round.
 
Thanks, Richard. It's a pretty sweet looking car with lower miles, so I am hopeful that everything checks out okay.
 
Hi T Mac, also have a 04 Z4 3.0i.
Issues I had were the coil packs, replaced under warranty by dealer.
Sticky steering problem, replaced by dealer (warranty honored after it expired due to prior complaint while in warranty).
Look on this forum for sticky steering issues. This deals with 03 and 04 model years.

I think the price should be lower. We haven't even talked any numbers or negotiated at this point.

And the only problem I have with some of the '03 and '04 potential issues is that it is a private party sale, so I assume the dealer won't be covering anything for me. That is, unless these items are BMW recall-type issues that a dealer would fix. Any info on that?
