Just booked mine in for new front bushes. Was thinking of going the powerflex route but after reading this thread Ive decided to stick with OEM ones.

I wouldn't use this thread as the only basis of your decision: this is only one negative review of them versus several Z4 owners (including me) who're more than happy with the change to them. I can catagorically state they haven't negatively affected my Z4.
