I just think they're a little too bright, I painted mine Imola Red with black clips and quite like them

Coloured calipers are too boy racerish for me. I prefer black.
But it's what you like that counts, if you stand back and get that gut feeling that has you posting for others' opinions to ease the pain I'd say you're not happy with the finish.

I nearly did the same thing until someone pointed out that I'd be detracting from the alloys (which are the real show piece). Ended up doing them dark grey. They look okay close up but you can't see them from a distance.

Think they look fine actually -do nothing for a couple of weeks and they will prob grow on you

It seems most people felt the same as me when I put the car back together
I've changed the clips to silver on that side and although better, only slightly I think?
I had the other side stripped down and wanted to paint it while it was clean so I used the 'Gunmetal' I had left from my old E89 and I quite like it I'm going to live with the car a few days and maybe the red will grow on otherwise I could cover it with the gunmetal or everything black???
