Think I've been scammed

I've given the member the benefit of doubt to reply to me but the pm's been sat in his inbox for over a week now. Sorry Aeroadster

I'm not sure if anyone has had problems with this member or if its just bad luck. Item arrived not as described, if someone asks you if somethings in perfect condition you don't expect it to arrive with chunks missing and parts missing. This was a set of front arches btw.

I've noticed the member pming on other peoples sales post offering the parts, this is how I got approached.

Member has been active here for awhile and I did receive the parts so I'm hoping its just a mistake.

Your seller by another name has upset another forum member. He appears to assert that the OP of that thread is miss-representing him by not showing the full exchange of messages where the condition/version of the part is discussed. If you have the full message exchange and can screen shot it then that will show if your seller promised one thing then delivered 'crap' - as the other buyer alleges has happened. Sir you are in an excellent position to shine a spotlight on this seller to the benefit of the whole forum.

Judging by his other activities, with different forum names, sadly it doesn't look like a mistake.
And pming on other members sales posts what the feck is all that about?

Here is my message to him. What a complete twat lol.

If anyone can give me his full name and address I’d appreciate it

Nowhere in that message does it say they are in perfect condition, simply that they are still in the packaging.

you ask someone if it’s 100% condition and they say yeh then you expect it to be.

He's said on other threads they were broken on arrival from the previous sale

He doesn't say "yes" in that screenshot though unless I'm missing it,. the question was asked but seemingly not answered.

Original sale thread of his mentions he’d removed them from the car too so should’ve been fully aware. Question was proposed. Guess I assumed they were by his reply.

He actually said they were removed from a car he was breaking for parts, which is clearly BS because he’d bought them off another forum member (under a different account name, [ref]Snoop D[/ref]) without paying attention to the fact they’d been modified to accommodate a lowered car. Unfortunately, he then decided to dupe you into taking them off his hands.

Absolute chode of a man.

I'm just going off the evidence above (screenshot). I hate scammers anyway, they deserve death by stoning.

It looks to me as though he's buying stuff from members purely with the intention of selling them on again, hence he doesn't even undo the original packing to examine items. That's probably why he doesn't answer the questions about the condition. :(

So all of this is being filed as it shows him as using multiple accounts. Fraud teams been contacted via bank so money should be back luckily. Anyone else dealing with this idiot do the same with your bank to make his account get investigated and flagged up. He might be doing it on other forums.

Snoopd & his multiple personality disorder aliases, I’d trust them all as far as i could throw them. People need to stop buying from this con-man
