All those guys that are saying size doesn't matter are the ones with 3.0l sixes and not turbo 2.0l fours......

......just saying :D

How do you feel about men who drive LS7 equipped cars?

Ah it's hard to beat a V8 especially a 427, though I do prefer the flat crank 5.2 litre Ford V8 found in the new GT350, that is a truly epic engine :D

For those who like your images - here's my interpretation of the major difference between a 35iS and a 435xd.

sars, a lot of the F3# gain over the E89 is actually traction & stability control advances. But in the case of the xDrive you've got the point n' squirt arcade game option.

I feel sorry for the wives of i3 drivers :tumbleweed:

I wouldn't care if my Husband had an i3, as long as I can have the two seater convertible :P

Where did the 435d come from? I thought we were comparing M4 vs 35is ? I still dont see why a 35is would beat an M4 :S

Not that i doubt 35is capabilities, quite a nice car. Shame they've not updated the zed recently really.

It was very quickly established that the M4 driver was in reverse

The performance of the 35iS is, frankly, much nearer that of the 3.0 auto diesel :fuelfire:

Wow an 8 page argument about who would be half a car ahead in a petty traffic lights race between grown men

Get a grip lads

Both are nice cars, both are fast, who gives a s**t

I cannot believe some of you actually found graphs on the internet about it and posted them, I'm embarrassed for you

Seriously

Graphs are important - more so than pictures of horses

the 30-70 road work sprint is fast becoming the defacto guage of automotive manliness :driving:

Seriously if you can't understand, what the f€*k are you doing on a forum for a sports car :D

......get on the driving Miss Daisy forum :P

You all sound like children arguing who's dad is hardest

It's pathetic

The point of a forum is to discuss the aspects of ownership not argue who's dick is bigger, because let's all be honest your members of a forum.... So it's small

Grow up morons it's a little pathetic reading your graphs and blah blah blah posts

Wow

Any more graphs to show who has the biggest bonnet lol

Always thought April Fools finished at midday...

to be honest the only person who could be construed (incorrectly) as arguing, would be me, by daring to question how this situation outlined by OP is possible ... Id probably categorise 'how fast it is' as an aspect of ownership worthy of discussion.

Personally i'd quite welcome some graphs to explain how it's feasible that under full load an M4 would lose to a 35is - not so fussed about the diesel though :D

Here's a diagram showing the only way the 35is will beat an M4.
