Being as I'm a girl. :(

New car meant to be collected this week and I've come down with a horrible lurgy.

On settee with a blanket and hot drinks.

Will someone go and collect it for me?
 
Yes... but you'll have to wait two to three years before I bring it round...

If it's any consolation i'm off to collect my Passat - not a new car but for what the repairs have cost me as may as well be and I'll be (almost) crying when I pay the bill!

To be fair it's been an excuse to the tax the Zed a month early and over the many years of Passat ownership it's not actually that bad (and the garage have been outstanding - if anyone wants a VW Specialist recommending in Lincoln the clue's in there - Lincoln VW Speicalist!).

Plus it means i'll be keeping the Passat for (another) 100,000 miles which means I can upgrade the 3.0 to a newer ///M a bit quicker. Maybe.

Oh and yeah i'll go and collect it for you - could tow it behind my re-born Passat in fact!
 
stop being such a wuss and get out there, pick the car up and drop the roof.. as you've got a cold already you wont have to worry about catching another one.
 
also i must add i wouldnt be caught dead letting someone i knew that wasnt a BMW official sit in and drive my car that had just rolled off of the production line, before i did. that would be a tragedy.
 
Well, that's just done it. Garage says car is due 15th. They are 'very pleased as its on time'
I got told w/b 5th.

Pass me a blanket, gonna crawl under and stay there.

Look on the bright side,you may be all better by the 15th :fingertap:
 
oh well got a couple of weeks to get better for the big day . :D you will enjoy it even more when it arrives weather is getting better each day. :roll: hope your well soon :driving:
