Think cars gone into transport mode

Battery died the other day. Now heating controls not working, I have 3 controls that do work but no hot air and no air con. Very low fan speed.

I have an eBay code reader, not read it yet, if that won't work is there a quick fix?

Cheers.

I had exactly the same it’s defo transport mode, needs to be coded out I’m afraid a Normal code reader just won’t do it. :headbang:

Transport mode has to be the biggest scam going.

Swapped over my battery as the RAC said it had a dead cell, thank god for ECP Bank holiday sale :)

Then made my way to a BM specialist For quick fix on the code. £40 lighter :(

It has to be the biggest scam going.

What battery did you get? I need one too!

Thanks

Hey I ordered from Euro car parts, went for Bosch S3 Battery (S3 Battery 100 (70Ah) 3 Year Guarantee)

Was 156 but paid 94 with the discount code. May75. Worth doing for sure

Mine was in for another job at my local BMW Indy in December 2016 when the battery died - a 70Ah OEM one was £75.32 plus £15.00 for fitting (both + VAT), which seemed fair.

I was a bit surprised when my Indy said OEM ones were Exide (I'd have thought Bosch) but then Z4s were built in the USA!

I hope you are both sorted now.
