You mean avoid M grille stripes?

I will defer to other forum members, but I think they are a little chavvy, and could indicate some harsh treatment.

Do you have em?

On both cars?

No M grills but 20i MSport and 35is had M motifs in many places as standard…

Is this a reasonable price for this? Feels a bit high. It does have bmw s/h

Its well spec'd..the mileage is OK they can cope with miles..prices are all over the place so its not that out of place..

Sport Highline are very well specced - iDrive, comfort pack, Light pack, extended storage pack.

Price seems ok for 93k, hell I would sell my 23i for 10k with 82k on the clock.

Sean, I tested the water with my 36k 23i full bmwsh with idrive & all the bits and one came back with an offer of £6.5k in showroom condition 😜 prices are all over the place

Beware of black painted wheels. Often done to hide damage as it's cheaper than a proper refurb. Not all admittedly but worth bearing in mind IMHO.
Also check service history; some people's idea of a 'full' history is different to others IME.

Looks like one rear wheel has been welded (twice) as very unlikely to have been replaced with new. General MOT history not great IMHO.

When I read that I did a WBAC online valuation; mine came back at £10,500 which I was pleasantly surprised at TBH. Exactly the money I paid for it 19 months ago! :)

I've just had a quick look on autotrader to see how much it would cost to replace mine like for like, there's only 1 with a similar age/spec/mileage - £14500!

Just bear in mind that is an asking price!

Yep I appreciate that, I was just using it to illustrate how crazy the market is... I've just sold another car for £1k more than I paid for it 5 years ago

I put mine into carhop and looked at part ex and they came back at £9200 a few weeks back, WBAC are way under that and Motorway are at £9k, therefore retail is probably £10.5 to £11k so £9.5 private would be a sensible amount on mine

Prices are crazy right now as its end of season and with fuel prices high everyone wants a 208 to save money.

Will be keeping mine for now, its has done less than 500 since the last MOT / Service in July and will not get much use now as its almost Sept.

At that point who offered £6.5 - they must have thought you had mug tattooed on your forehead

Sean, it came through Car Wow. I wouldn't sell it through any of them.

Always amusing…people say they want to be sensible..sensible advice given then they do something else… :tumbleweed:
