Hello
Thought I would do a write up of what to look out for when buying a Titan silver 2007 Coupe
These are now old cars and most things you would expect. But at least prep a car and then price accordingly
ABS and Traction control triangle lights have been totally wiped. Lights do not come on when ignition is turned on.
DTC button does not do anything at all either. Same with TPMS button

Brake pipe corrosion can be hidden by smothering in copper grease ( no photo ) or tape ( see photo) TBF my first thought was maybe they had it stuck to a cable rod fishing tool to feed it through the back end of he car. But the tape looks brand new compared to the pipe
Exhausts can blow especially in 4 places

Tyres can wear down and end up bald. Also scrub and destroy wheel arch liners and bumpers

Other issues that can occur:
â˘TPMS light can occur when 19â wheels are fitted and correct tyre sizes are not then fitted
â˘Slight coolant leaks from expansion tanks
â˘Oil level indicators can stop working even when oil is up to temperature and on level surface
â˘Brake disc dust shields can corrode and rattle around
â˘Brakes can get very noisy when cheap pads and discs are fitted
â˘Brake calipers can stick
â˘Cars can end up being off the road between 2013 and 2015 and end up with really bad paint jobs, overspray and paint runs
â˘Common areas of corrosion include front wings, rear quarter panels and N/S door and near N/S door lock striker plate
â˘keys can bend and spares can need replacing
â˘O/S door aperture seal torn
Like I say I wouldnât normally grumble with most of the above but price it accordingly, and describe the car as it is.
Just donât want anyone else to buy any car online that isnât local and end up regretting it.
