Its a statement thats for sure. Like wearing your trousers half way down your legs or your polo shirt collar 'popped'. If thats your thing then cool. 
I'm not going to call you a chav, but your mods do seem to create a picture in peoples minds. Not one of a well heeled gentleman shall we say. The Z4 hasnt been in a modding 'bracket' particularly until recently so it stands to reason other owners will not be the types to approve bumpers with gaping holes in it.
As an ex Max Power reader back in the 90's i love looking at modded cars. They're entertaining and creative. Taste though is one of the hardest parts to get right. And being english we dont half get pedantic about subtlety!

I'm fascinated to see what it looks like on and finished. It's an extreme style change, but then some stylings grow on you.
Pictured off the car, not convinced. Once it's on and painted, it may well look good. Colour can make a huge difference, as will the finishing touches like grilles etc

Can't believe some of the comments on this thread.
I've been shot down many a time on here by various individuals and, as the old timers know, I don't worry about sticking up for myself as I don't give a sh1t what people think.
What really irks me though isn't the fact people disagree or put their opinions across, its the WAY they do it.
We're not all going to agree (how boring) but why do people think its ok to be rude when giving their opinion?
I'd like to see if they would say it in such a rude way to Brad's face.

I think thats completely uncalled for... Can you not refer to me as a chav please? Im a hard working professional who enjoys modifying cars. I worked hard for my zed just like everyone else on this forum, I posted this thread to share my excitement for my project car. Sorry if I have misinterpreted any sarcasm you meant by the original post but It didnt come across as a joke at all.

What can I say? I'd rather tell the truth than beat around the bush. The bumper with standard grilles looks nice. This one however, looks awful.
Best of luck with it, but I personally will never like it.

Yes, an ///M without an ///M bonnet or rear bumper. everyone knows it's not a Z4M. I also can't take credit for it as the previous owner put it on. Better than some aftermarket monstrosity.
