They're on...

Thanks for all the great replies guys. Glad you all like them.

I was a little unsure when I saw them in the boxes but what a difference when they're on the car.

I gave then a good coat of Megs NXT wax before they went on but will invest in some proper rim wax.. Can anyone recommend a good one?

Ive thought long and hard about lowering it but im still undecided. I don't want to get into any trouble with the M front bumper. Its low at the front end now with the standard sport suspension. I think if anything it could do with being dropped a tad at the back end. Ill give it some thought.

Right im off for a drive in this lovely sunshine, find a few shop windows to catch my reflection in

I'm looking to get Nano sealant like below

How do you find the ride? I love the look of the wheels and they look the perfect size but is it very bumpy? Whats it like on pot holed roads and generally worn like the roads get?

Hope the dishes survive the stone chips. Looks great, hope you can keep them like that.

Look really nice, I really like 108's but your car is now quite unique looking

That's what I wanted. I love CSL wheels on a coupe but it seems to be the default choice for people changing their wheels.

Many thanks Srhutch.. Think I will be investing in some of this. The third link is great and the videos on there about the nano technology are pretty cool.

nice

wouldn't drop it myself ... arches flow around the wheels really nicely....

That's what I was thinking. I dont want the gap at the top to be out of proportion with the gap to the sides of the wheels. Its just the rear IMO that sits a tad too high, just 10 - 15mm. Just dont fance shelling out the money for springs only to use the rears.. :|

The ride is better than the 108's with RFT. It doesnt crash as much and doesn't tramline at all. Before with the RFT when you were driving over slightly worn surfaces it buzzed like hell through the cabin but now there is none of this.. So far im very impressed with the Avons and the tread pattern looks great IMO :D

Me too pvr. What I plan to do as said before is keep them well waxed and inspect them on a weekly basis when they are washed and if I see any stone chips then just apply a touch of clear lacquer to the top of the chip to seal it with a very fine artist brush.. Hopefully this will help to keep them in check :?

looking sweet, I would lower it a TAD.... maybe it's just me.

Thanks jsandhu, I am currently considering this but am undecided at the minute :?

Thanks for the comments about the ride, especially about the vibration noise. There is a road that I drive along virtually every day that makes the most god aweful noise, friend has noticed it as well on her BM with similar run flats.
