Since the Z4 has had all the attention recently with its MOT and service, attention was turned to its other half today... the (50 shades of) Daytona Grey Audi A3 :D :P

It might not be as distinct as the Z4, but all round its a pretty impressive car. 8) :P

Very nice car!-someone has one next to where i work in the same colour with the windows tinted-stunning in the metal!

Fantastic car. My son would love one but was quoted 5-6 months delivery last Friday.

Me likey very much, looking forward to the saloon version that will spawn the convertible, may be tempted then

Thanks guys!

andysat Really pleased with the colour. Its a pearlescent paint, and can look very sparkly and lighter in colour in sunlight.

Titan I didn't factory order, but instead intercepted a 2.0 TDI S Line car that was already on order from another dealership. The only option I wanted was the Comfort Pack which gives: rear parking sensors, auto lights and wipers, cruise control and the acoustic windscreen. The dealer fitted the SD based sat nav system and the fact the car was Daytona Grey was a bonus!

sars The spyshots of the cabrio look much better proportioned that the current model, but yes, could be quite nice! Hope you are still enjoying the E ?

Nice car

Difficult to keep clean? I only ask because I'm thinking grey for my next car :?

Very nice. Would be tempted by one of these when it comes to replace the zed.

Very nice, I was speccing one of these yesterday as my next potential company car. I chose the exact same colour, glad to see it looks that good in the flesh.

Does that have a pop up nav screen? Based on the idrive style controls.

Any pics with the screen up?

I need to get my company motor replaced and i'm tempted by the a3 over the a4 and save tax!

I would say, no worse than Deep Sea Blue, although when clean the pearlescent paint looks terrific. What you thinking on buying next? 8)

NeilP - the driving position is a bit like the TT, you do sit quite low down, not quite as much as in the Zed, but its a very comfortable cabin to spend time in.

A few more pics for you, aquazi... :P

Radio screen:

Telephone screen... iPhone 5 works perfectly with bluetooth

Sat Nav (SD based system for £500) - you can get a higher def, larger screen with built-in sat nav, not sure on cost tho... probably over £1k

And finally, a wee video of the screen folding away :D

My brother has an A3 company car (2009 2.0 TDI S Line in black)

As the 4 years are almost up he'll be getting a new car later this year. Went with him to the Dealership to look at the new A3 a couple of weeks back and it really does look nice.

The only time I'm envious of my brother... company car choosing time. He can spec new (like the A3) or pay less for a reallocated one... and looking down the list there are some lovely porche's, and top spec BMW's, Audis etc to choose from :headbang:*

* On the flip side I do get to drive it :)
